This is only one of my favourite pictures of Benji, but it is definetely my #1 picture of him! It's from the night he won the Emmy in 2003. The look on his face is so captivating to me, that smile that alway smake smy heart melt and that lights up an entire room, something I will never forget.
I was so extremely happy about him winning, because I thought after all these years... he truly deserved it. I will never forget his speech on stage, it was a mix of laugher and unbelievable proudness that I as a Benji fan felt.
I was so extremely happy for him to have won the award and the moment he thanked his mom, I couldn't help the tear that escaped me. He worked really hard for years and it was finally being recognized and awarded!
Another thing I love about this picture is his clothes. I have always had a weakness for Benji/Hal in black or dark clothes and darn does he look good in that outfit. The black suit, the black shirt and then the casualty of not wearing a tie but that perfectly matching necklace, it's just so.... YUMMY for a lack of better word!
How anyone could not love that man looking like that is beyond me! Forever one of my favourite Benji pictures!
